Solzhenitsyn's effect on the English language

What effect has Solzhenitsyn's writings had on the English language?

I can think of two examples.
1) He introduced "Gulag" as a proper noun. This probably never would have happened except for Gulag Archipelago.
2) I also think he introduced "A day in the life of ..." or "One day in the life of ..." as a somewhat common title.
Any others, I wonder?
